Poverty Relief Fund

Vision: To relieve the suffering caused by poverty in Northern Virginia.

While Northern Virginia is the economic engine of the Commonwealth, pockets of poverty persist here and the economic downturn has pushed many more people to their financial limit. According to our independent needs assessment, many of our neediest neighbors live along the Route 1 corridor, in Baileys Crossroads and the Culmore community, in certain neighborhoods in Sterling, Herndon, Falls Church, Arlington and Leesburg, portions of Manassas and Manassas Park, and areas south of Route 50 near Seven Corners.
