The Giving Circle of HOPE is a philanthropic organization that helps needy people in Northern Virginia by issuing annual grants, providing direct service through ongoing service programs, and hosting community events to benefit nonprofit partners.

Since 2004, we have issued over $300,000 in grants to 31 exceptional nonprofits, many of whom are small, grassroots organizations. In addition, we host Empty Bowls, a hunger relief fundraiser, each spring and Gifts That Give Hope, an alternative gift fair, each fall to help support our nonprofit partners.

The Giving Circle of HOPE also runs five service programs:

·         Helping Hungry Kids - providing weekend food to elementary aged children in need

·         Crafting Hope - teaching creative arts to low-income women & providing market opportunities

·          Kids’ Club - providing enrichment to homeless children

·         Caring Friends - visiting residents at nursing facilities

·         Flashes of Hope - organizing free photo sessions & portfolios for families with pediatric cancer
