Christopher Ertel was an exceptional husband, father, son, brother, friend, colleague and an avid golfer.  The Chris Ertel Golf Event has had two very successful years that have allowed us to keep Chris's spirit alive and continue his generosity.  It was a difficult decision to make regarding this year's event, but I felt it would be best not to hold the event this year, due to the poor economic situation.  Donations can still be made in Chris's memory, and will equally support the charities that Chris Ertel supported, including St. Jude Children's Research Hosptial, the Christian Children's Fund and the Humane Society of Fairfax County.
