The Reema J. Samaha Memorial Funds were established in memory of Reema J. Samaha, whose promising young life was cut short on April 16, 2007 at Virginia Tech University.   Reema was known not only for her beautiful simle and her love for dance, but also for her exceptional character and academic excellence. 

On October 26, 2008 Ahlam Kays Ghadry will run the Marine Corps Marathon to raise funds for the Reema J. Samaha Memorial Scholarship Fund.  The goal is to raise $10,000 to support a college scholarship for a student who exemplifies the attributes of Reema Samaha, including academic excellence, character, openness of mind and  respect for diversity.   To contribute, select MCM/2008 Reema J.
